Scott Douglas called a brief meeting during the Holiday potluck dinner held at the Triboro Sportsmen Club Dining Hall, Cementon which started at 6:00pm. There were approximately 35 people attending this event.
Member at Large: Scott Douglas indicated a correction to the October and November meeting discussion and minutes were required for the Member at Large seats. Upon review of the By-Laws and the current terms, Sheldon Linn is eligible and willing to fill this role for another year, and Larry Palmer is eligible and willing to fill this role for two more years. A motion to approve this correction was made by Scott Douglas, and second by Bill Smith.
Winter Pool Sessions: Linda Martin indicated the first session is scheduled to start Sunday, January 10th at the Quakertown YMCA. The hours are expected to be 5pm to 9pm. Applications are being accepted for those interested in attending classes; canoe, flat water, and moving water. The nightly pool rate will be $10/per adult, and $5/per child.
Paddler of the Year Nominations: Scott Douglas asked everyone to submit their nominations for one male and one female for this award. And also if there are any youth to be considered. The criteria will be posted on the club website.
Maryland Sea Kayak Trip: Linda Martin and Dave Dawson indicated plans are underway for a sea kayak trip from Fri, May 23rd through Mon, May 26th. A minimum boat size of 12 foot is required. There will be a required, non refundable deposit of $30. The location is at Camp Kometh, Maryland (near Chestertown). The cost per person will be $30/night, plus food cost.
Membership Renewal: Dan Rempp reminded everyone to renew their annual memberships either online, or see him for the paper forms which he brought with him.

Scott Douglas ended the meeting portion by reminding everyone that there will be no General Membership meeting for January, which instead will be a meeting of the Executive Committee. Upon ending the meeting, attendees resumed their Holiday party activities. The next General Membership Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, February 4th, 2016 at the Wildlands Conservancy, Emmaus, PA.
