Dan Rempp reported Constant Contact has changed the email template so as to accommodate cell phones. No one reported any issues with this new template.
We have had a number of Zoom meetings regarding fitness and safety specifically, Dr. John Graham’s presentation on Fitness for Kayaking and Moulton Avery’s presentations on Paddling Hazards and Cold Water Safety. So, should we add a tab on our website with links to consolidate this information. Cost to add will be a one-time fee of $250. Dan Rempp said our maintenance agreement will not cover this new page
> Some discussion with the general feeling of adding this new page soon as the paddling season is beginning.
Motion made to add a page called “Safety and Fitness” on our website and pay the $250 fee.
MP – Rita MS – CC P- All 0- none.
Scott reported that the Intermediate class was successfully run on the Tohickon 3 students.

Upper Perkiomen YMCA – We received email offering use of the 6-lane outdoor pool. Any interest? Or do we wait til winter. We are responding that we think the pool is too small.
> Update: Indoor Pool will not be open for the Winter, The outdoor pool is only available to us for April and May and not available after Memorial Day Weekend.
Dave Dawson expressed interest in using the pool for rolling classes if the pool depth was appropriate. Otherwise, because Pat’s pond is bigger than the pool, there is no interest in using it for other classes.

Many speakers at the FEW meeting on March 18, 2021 that was held by zoom. There did not seem to be a desire to take water out of the FEW reservoir for use as drinking water for New York. The FEW water would be taken to keep the salt water from flowing up into the Delaware so that New York City’s drinking water levels be maintained. There was a PA Republican study and input by local business/Pocono Tours. See the following website for statements made at this meeting: http://www.pagoppolicy.com/pasthearings
